United States Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment, Keith Krach is visiting Tallinn on Wednesday, September 23.  During his time in Estonia, Under Secretary Krach will have meetings with the President of the Republic of Estonia, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Minister of Foreign Trade and Information Technology to discuss U.S.-Estonian cooperation on 5G security, the Three Seas Initiative, and digital development, amongst other topics. During his trip, Under Secretary Krach will visit the eEstonia showroom and will also participate in a reception for members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Estonia.

The United States and Estonia have a strong partnership to build shared prosperity through cooperation in security, science and technology, and trade. Under Secretary Krach’s visit will underscore the importance of that partnership as we work together to ensure the security of critical telecommunications infrastructure and technology supply chains, as well as to strengthen regional infrastructure, digital connectivity, and Eastern European energy independence.

Keith Krach has served as Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment since June 21, 2019. Previously, he had a distinguished career as a businessman and entrepreneur. Mr. Krach is the former CEO and Chairman of DocuSign (2009–2019), which provides electronic signature and digital transaction management solutions to accelerate commerce between companies, while reducing the ecological impact of paper transactions. Prior to that, Mr. Krach was Chairman and CEO of Ariba, the world’s largest business-to-business e-commerce network and Chairman of the Board for Angie’s List, amongst other positions. Mr. Krach also served as Chairman of the board of Trustees for Purdue University from 2007 to 2013.
