We condemn in the strongest possible terms the verbal attack on Rabbi Shmuel Kot that took place on Saturday in Tallinn.
Hateful language of this nature, whether directed at an individual’s religion, race, ethnicity, gender, or other core identities has no place in modern society. Words matter and can lead to dangerous actions if hateful speech is left unchallenged.
We join with the Jewish Community of Estonia, Prime Minister Ratas, and all others who have condemned this action and support Estonian law enforcement as they carry out their investigation.
